RVM is a philanthropist, positive-life philosopher, speaker, poet, singer, motivator and an author. He was one of the earliest, successful Indian retailers who transformed the retailing industry in India through his stores – Kids Kemp, Big Kids Kemp and Kemp Fort.
At the peak of his career, he decided to changehis focus from retail business and dedicate his life to humanitarian and inspirational work, aimingto make a difference in the lives of many people. He started the RVM Foundation, which runs a charitable and free hospital and homes for the homeless and destitute of Bangalore with the aim to reduce pain and suffering.
RVM’s spiritual efforts to spread the power of faith led him to build the Shiv Temple on Old Airport Road in Bangalore, which is now known as the Shivoham Shiv Temple. It has grown into a revered spiritual destination and is home to the most powerful Shiva statue in the world. He has also devoted his life to spread the RVM philosophy of self-fulfillment by inspiring people through his inspirational quotes and books and motivational speeches.
